This series has been created with St. John Henry Newman in mind. Newman was a theologian and prolific writer.  This new series includes plein air and studio creations and is centered around a prayer for the working person, the persecuted, the parent, the aged, the sick or anyone who is thinking about the day that passed. It is entitled:

Peace At Last

O Lord, support us all the day long,
til the shadows lengthen,
and the evening comes,
and the busy world is hushed,
and the fever of life is over,
and our work is done.
Then in your mercy,
grant us a safe lodging and a holy rest,
and peace at last. Amen.
